The first Province serving the counties of Staffordshire & Shropshire was 'The Province of the MIdland Counties' which also served the Counties of Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
In 1995 due to the growth within the Order the Province was split with the Province of 'Staffordshire, Shropshire and Herefordshire' being formed.
The current Province was formed in 2005 when Herefordshire was moved to form with the new Province of 'Gloucester, Herefordshire and Wiltshire.
